Daily Life in Puzhao
　　Puzhao Temple was commenced in the 20th year of Emperor Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty (1681) and completed in the 12th year of Emperor Guangxu period (1886) . It took 205 years to construct it wholly. It mainly owe to Zhang Mingyuan, craftsman in Tanganjun ( Chongzhou City today ) and his prentices. The layout of the temple is mainly based on traditional lucky figures such as three, four, eight, twelve, twenty-four, thirty-three, thirty-six and seventy-two and soon. Puzhao Temple is full of connotation in its recherch└ building style. Puzhao Temple is surrounded by 1.2km enclosing wall, with the meaning of twenty-four gods of Buddhism. Its northwest is closed to Weijiang River and is not surrounded by enclosing wall, with the meaning of "sinking of the northwest of the earth". The whole temple has 365 houses and 24 yards. It is constructed according to the mountain trend so as to make it neither crowed nor loose . It is not arranged in stagger and orderly and completely different from the symmetrical building complexes.
